University Teaching
As part of the Students Teaching Students program at Penn State, Frederick has been fortunate to design and teach his own musical theatre history course. THEA 297 was first taught in the Spring 2021 semester at Penn State and will be offered again in Spring 2022 with an expanded syllabus.
Educational
In Summer 2020, Frederick joined forces with teaching artists at Keystone Theatrics (the producing organization of the historic Allenberry Playhouse in Boiling Springs, PA) to pivot all summer educational programming to online platforms. Keystone Youth Theatrics - Online provided daily free educational content to young theatre artists across various social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube).
