Productions receive a professionally made annotated script including defined terms and language translations (as needed), as well as an accompanying research guide that dives into the world of the play, its sociohistorical context, biographies of the writers, and any other relevant information pertinent to the production. These are ideal for educational settings that seek to generate fruitful conversations about the work and immerse their students in the text.
Program Note - $100
Productions receive a scholarly essay exploring the show's central themes and relevance to the audience. This is ideal for programs in educational and professional theatre settings.
Annotated Script, Research Packet & Program Note Bundle - $350
For these three deliverables, institutions will receive a $50 discount.
In-Person / Virtual Talks - $ varies if in-person, $250 if virtual
A professionally prepared presentation specifically tailored towards the demographic of creatives involved in the production, providing additional context and conversation from the (ideally) previously supplied research guide. Depending on mile radius, travel to in-person location is possible and will impact cost. Virtual presentations can be recorded and distributed and/or presented live over Zoom.
Please note: These prices reflect the cost of services for new materials. Institutions receive a substantial discount on shows where materials already exist. Please inquire at [email protected] for the extensive catalog of pre-existing materials.
Commitment to Accessibility: In an effort to make dramaturgical materials accessible to theatre programs from a variety of backgrounds, the MT Dramaturg pledges to negotiate costs of materials for programs demonstrating need, regardless if materials already exist or not.
