Fall 2020

Frederick recently collaborated with current students at his high school alma mater, Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, PA, to devise a performance art piece centered on the student's experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through weekly writing sessions, Frederick led a group of 20 students of various backgrounds in the creation of Pulling Back the Mask, which was then filmed onstage (following COVID-19 safety guidelines) and streamed to the community.

Frederick's play Outcasts received a developmental reading at Penn State University in Fall 2020, broadcast live from the stage of Schwab Auditorium on the University Park campus.
