This Off-Broadway revival of Stephen Schwartz's The Baker's Wife presented many "firsts" as a dramaturg. My first opportunity to work with a living composer on a revival of their work as well as my first foray into the professional New York theater community.

How appropriate for this show to be about community and the ambiguity that comes with relationships. My research surveyed 1930s France, bread, and this particular show's tumultuous production history.
