As an educator, I stand on the shoulders of those amazing teachers who so greatly impacted me as a young person. My pedagogical practice aims to curate and champion curiosity and creativity. "Let the information meet you where you're at," was said to me when I was an undergrad and I have carried this with me into grad school and beyond. The gap between one's prior knowledge and the material at hand is a beautiful starting point from which much can be gained.

As an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Utah, I have taught:
  • Broadway: The Development of the American Musical - An introduction to the Broadway musical, its key players, and socio-historical impact on American culture.

As a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, I have taught:
  • Beyond Broadway: Musical Theatre Across the Globe - An undergraduate seminar exploring commercial and amateur musical theatre practices in markets across the globe.
  • Introduction to Dramatic Art - An introductory script analysis course for majors and non-majors.
  • Introduction to Performance - An introductory acting course for majors and non-majors.
